Question : How do I best clean 18/8 stainless steel and/or other materials?
Answer : Use a proprietary brand e.g. Shiny Sinks for Stainless Steel and Bar Keepers Friend or Astonish for Synthetic or Ceramic.

Question : How do I clean the overflow?
Answer : Most Deepali sinks have rigid overflow pipes and can be cleaned by pouring boiling water into them. Alternatively use a proprietary cleaner.

Question : How does one apply Earthing to a Deepali Sink?
Answer : Only Stainless Steel sinks require earthing by a mechanical bond. It is strongly advised that the earthing tag is applied prior to the sink installation. Deepali always provide a point on the clip rail of inset sinks.

Question : How does one knock out a taphole in a synthetic or ceramic sink?
Answer : Always refer to the guide provided. Instruction sheets exist for the different materials. If you experience difficulty contact customer service.

Question : Can I fit a Waste Disposal Unit in my Deepali sink?
Answer : Any sink that has a 3½ inch waste (90mm) is capable of having a waste disposal unit connected.

Question : What is the warranty on Deepali sinks?
Answer : Deepali sinks are guaranteed against manufacturing defect for 25 years.

Question : Are all sinks available in left hand and right hand drainer format?
Answer : All Deepali sinks are available as right-hand or left-hand drainer. Reversible sinks automatically offer that choice.

Question : Can you stop stainless steel scratching?
Answer : Stainless Steel will always scratch (whether it be of Deepali sink's manufacture or competitor) and because of the directional polishing marks on many Deepali models the scratching will show up quite dramatically initially. However, with use and cleaning (using a proprietary cleaner like shiny sinks) the stainless steel will eventually build up a patina over the years and the scratching marks will not be as evident. Question : Can I have brass wastes on my sink instead of stainless steel?
Answer : Deepali have alternative 90mm wastes in titanium/zirconium, which are brass colored but are resistant to attack. Brass degrades quickly and is very soft.

Question : How do I find out what cut-out dimensions are necessary for my Deepali stainless steel sink?
Answer : Cut inside the overall frame dimension (by inverting the sink on the worktop) by 8mm all round and always use a 20mm (important!) radius at the corners. If a template is provided, please use that.
